THE VERDICT: Another scorer from the house of Avon. It feels as air light as it claims and also makes the skin feel soft.It is ideal to even out the skin tone and to give a nice made up look without going overboard.Stays put all day,can be used all over the face,neck and eyes and very easy to remove.

P.S. It sells with a slightly different name and packaging in some countries but the effect is the same.

The Product: Eye Liner,Lip Liner and Brow Liner sticks

The Verdict: All I can say about them is that they are make up must haves as they are easy o the price and heavy on impact. They perform as well as the other expensive brands and are smooth enough to be used everyday and also easy to remove.

Brand In Focus- Avon

I heard a lot about this brand as a kid and a few of their products also showed up at times on cosmo and femina. I got to explore their range when my mother became a member and this is what i feel about the brand.

The Range:They have a very broad range that includes make up,skin care,grooming & styling products,fragrances, bath and body line as well as a range for men.New products are added every month making it very difficult to decide as to what to buy.

I have always found Avon to be a very tricky brand. Tricky because you need to make the right purchase from the broad spectrum range.The low priced products reflect their price and the high priced products don't quite live up to the tag.It is the mid range products that are both cost and duty efficient.

What Have I Tried: I have used their lip,eye and face products in the make up range,body softeners,moisturisers,deodorants,body sprays and conditioners in the body range

I was very much influenced by the article,and having found powder undesirable on many occassions, I wanted to see if a powder could really become as necessary as my favourite lipstick.

THE CLAIMS: It claims to provide powder and make up in one, minimise the look of pores and is non-comedogenic and non-acnegenic.

This is the first time that I have come across a product that fulfills all its claims.It certainly is a lightweight powder that simply blends into your skin without much fuss.It makes the pores disappear and also conceals the minor spots and redness on the cheeks.Team it with a good foundation and you get flawless skin, apply it alone and you still look great.You can use it under your eyes without a second thought as it does not accumulate in the creases and lines but blends into them.

It also has a very lovely packaging and an easy to apply sponge.

THE FINAL VERDICT Yes,I now find it as necessary as my favourite lipstick. I reccommend it to every girl who wants to fake flawless skin(not all of us are so lucky to be blessed with it). The only turn off is the price. It costs between 1300-1400 INR and will last only a month on daily application.
